After we rode the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disney World we were off to It’s a Small World ride. Nervous that it would be shorter like Pirates of the Caribbean we headed over to take a sail around the world. As we headed towards the ride we saw that the entrance was a tent to get inside… Saddened by the outside but we were still excited to see a different version. As we got on the boat we were super excited to see this version. My first impression was the boats were smaller and almost felt like you are sinking into the water. But as we traveled around I noticed that the room size felt a bit smaller in size. I did like the updated characters because they were more vibrant in color. The jungle room is gorgeous. But, the “White” room was not as “White” it is still beautiful but different. It was more of a baby blue color. The White room in Disneyland always makes me think of Heaven. I always think this is what it must be like when were are all together and in white. So the church girl in me of course missed that part of the ride. But it was still fun! I did miss all the Disney Character dolls in the Disneyland version. It makes it feel more like a Disney ride. The only other thing was I missed the outside of the one in Disneyland. If you’ve ever been to Disneyland and been on It’s a Small World you know as well as I do that it is gorgeous on the outside! It’s almost as pretty as Auror’s Castle. My daughter when she was 2 saw the outside of It’s A Small World ride in the distance! She screamed with pure joy and thought it was beautiful! So the outside of the one in Disneyland is better! The following is my breakdown of the rides at both parks: Good parts of Disneyland Perk: Time on Ride: 16 min Perk: Built by Walt Disney himself Perk: Has Disney Character themed dolls throughout Perk: Decorated for Christmas and the song changes! A must-see! Beautiful during Christmas! Perk: Longer Perk: Boats are bigger Christmas Time Check it Out: Disneyland Version Check it Out: Disney World Break Down Shorter Time on the ride only 12 min! Perk: Nice to wait in AC instead of the hot sun! Perk: Has a neat restaurant located on the outside of the ride. Where you can watch people sail around the world. They also have a cool option. You can try and get those waiting in line to do and say things on the cards you hold up. These cards are in the restaurant. Perk: Vibrant Colors Perk: Different and fun to see.
